Achyranthes Bidentata root extract for Body

Achyranthes bidentata is an important medicinal plant of the Amaranthaceae family that has been listed in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, is one of the most frequently used herbs in formulas that are prescribed for the regulation of bone and mineral metabolism. It is rich in active phytochemical compounds including saponins, ecdysterone, oleanolic acid glycosides, ketosteroids, and flavonoids, and produces effects that include strengthening of the muscles and bones, invigoration of the liver and kidneys, promotion of blood flow, removal of blood stasis, and increase in longevity.

• It helps with Steroid-induced osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH): Achyranthes Bidentata root extract prevents steroid-induced ONFH and alleviates steroid-induced bone deterioration by regulating the RANKL/RANK/OPG signaling pathway. Thus, Achyranthes Bidentata root extract should be considered a potential candidate drug for the treatment of steroid-induced ONFH. 

• Blood stasis: it helps to treat blood stasis with dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, and retained lochia.
