Is it more powerful than Argireline?

Acetyl octapeptide-3 (also known as Acetyl Glutamyl Heptapeptide-1 or SNAP-8) is a powerful peptide and said to be more effective than Argireline (also known as acetyl hexapeptide-3 or acetyl hexapeptide-8). It is a synthetic peptide that is composed of amino acids like aspartic acid, glutamic acid, glutamine, and methionine.

This peptide can improve the signs of aging by modulating muscle contraction thus preventing the formation of fine lines and wrinkles that is caused by repeated movement.

There is a lack of evidence on this peptide and is not as well researched as Argireline. Even if there was evidence, the concentrations used in the company-sponsored testing to check the improvement of signs of aging is 3–10%, which is way more than what’s typically present in skincare products.
