This is how you can prepare the tremella mushrooms before cooking them:

  • Cover the dried mushroom in water and let it sit for 1-3 hours till it becomes soft.

  • cut the mushroom into small pieces and wash it throughly.

After preparing the mushrooms, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.

Add 1/4 cup of oats and the chopped fungus, then let it simmer for about 5 minutes. You can add dates or almonds along with this porridge.

When you’re making a soup out of tremella mushrooms:

  • You will need 6 cups of water in a cooking pot and then add the mushrooms.
  • Once it reaches the boiling point, lower the heat and let it simmer for 45 mins.
  • After the 45 mins, you can add some dates or almonds and let it cook for another 20 mins.
  • You can then pour the soup into a seperate bowl.
  • Once its cooled down, you can add a teaspoon of honey to the soup and enjoy.
